    BB sync problem

    Hi,

    I downloaded BB desktop manager V4.6.0.12.
    I have Outlook 2007.

    I have 80 new contacts that are only in Outlook and not on my BB.
    I have 51 contacts that I entered manually onto the BB.

    These 51 on the BB are not included in the 80 contacts in Outlook.

    I want to merge both these lists on both the BB and Outlook.

    I have setup the Desktop Manager and the sync worked from outlook to BB.
    I now have 131 on BB and 80 on Outlook.

    My problem is with sending the 51 that are on BB to Outlook.
    Only a subset of the 51 (31/51) gets sent to Outlook successfully.

    I have indentified the problem.
    The 20 contacts that dont get sent to outlook DO NOT have an email address on the BB.
    The 31 that do get sync'ed all have an email address on the BB.

    I don't think it should matter if they have an e-mail address or not. Outlook doesn't care if a contact has an e-mail address.

    I think your problem lies within the synchronization configuration. You have the sync enabled only one way (from Outlook to your device). You need to make sure it is set to a TWO-WAY sync.
