I, too, hate drudging through all the voicemails to get to the critical ones.

It would be nice to see who had called and not have to listen to the messages at all.

    Nope.

    • What’s your #1 pet peeve when it comes to cell phone voicemail?
    • I hate how it takes so long to dial, then put in password, then hit 7 to delete or 9 to save. Takes forever!
    • What’s one feature you’d love to have on your cell phone voicemail service?
    • I would love to have a more visual voicemail. Tired of listening to voicemails that I dont need, and wasting my time.
    • Have you ever had a voicemail you really want to share widely? What was it?
    • Yup, my friends dog singing to her playing the piano. TOOOO funny!
This is my Blackberry. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Blackberry is useless. Without my Blackberry I am useless.

What’s one feature you’d love to have on your cell phone voicemail service?

As I usually listen to many voicemails on the fly, I tend to save most of them so that I could write down any pertinent information at a later time. Then, when I actually sit down to listen to the voicemails, I often find myself wasting a lot of time having to listen through all of the saved messages in order. It would be great to be able to pick and choose which message to listen to through a user interface on the handset.

My biggest pet peeve is not being able to listen to or reply to my voicemail. Another is that Alltel does not supported Youmail. I have checked back with youmail and Alltel is still not supported.

    • What’s your #1 pet peeve when it comes to cell phone voicemail?

Not knowing who left it. Sometimes you get a number calling you that you don't recognize and wonder if its worth picking up.

Intense Caller ID where even blocked numbers are revealed.
    • Have you ever had a voicemail you really want to share widely? What was it

When I got my company promotion and wanted to share the offer they gave me

I would love a "keep as new" option. I also hate trying to listen to a voicemail a second time from the beginning. Too many options. I end up rewinding a few seconds and listening to it in slow motion.

    1. I hate having to wade through several minutes of voice mails to hear the ones that are important. It would be great to be able to see a name or face to identify who left the voicemail or have this as a feature to delete messages that I am not interested in listening to.

Have you ever had a voicemail you really want to share widely? What was it?

Customers-I would love to be able to "broadcast" a voicemail to management's phones, instead of writing an email quoting the voicemail. (I would also like to be able to annotate it before sending, too). Some PBX systems can do this, but most people use their cellphones these days if they're out in the field........
