    Thanks in advance.

AWESOME! Now THIS is the Windows Live Messenger link! Version 2.1.32.

It should be mentioned that this link, like many RIM downloads, works both OTA and using the IE Web Installer.

Now for the REALLY BIG NEWS...

    THIS WORKS ON AT&T!
Thank you AT&T- and Bicho.mm0 for finding the right link!

AT&T really deserves some recognition here since this version requires no less than THREE Service Books - all starting with WLM2.1. This is something AT&T has not allowed with some of the other IM clients - most noteably Yahoo.

Hayden - I don't know what version of WLM the link you have delivers, but that link won't install on Cingular / AT&T devices, and the icon on that page looks like this:

I assume devices with Vendor Code 102 which is what my Cingular 8800 is.

You know you're on the right page (both OTA and IE Web Install) if you see this picture:

I got the same. The thing is I had a WLM version that was working...

I used the link with the wlm20 on the end that was posted earlier, and that one worked.

Just like the facebook icon the Windows Live messenger download icon is being pushed to to our handhelds. If you are running 4.5 delete the WLM that comes installed and then reboot, it should push the icon to your iBB. Click, download and enjoy. Not sure if this is for all carriers but seems like most this month have followed suit.

You have to visit the link via your Blackberry not your PC.
I copied the link and emailed it to my BB and then clicked on it and it installed.
I excepted the terms and conditions then it launched.
I am on and it is live.............. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhh (lil jon voice).

Word frpm RIM is that it's now open for most of the carriers with previous issues. As of the last week over 10 BTSC articles have also been added for WLM support. Until this month I've been one of those so-called blocked users.
