That's the word on the street. A love hate relationship. Despite the issues, i am going to keep looking to RIM to do their magic.

This is more or less expected. My of us stackers use our berries because they are reliable simplistic devices with a focus on communication and reliability. With Rimm rushing this device to the market (which they did) it is normal to have software flaws. I don't ever think that I will choose a touch screen device unless it has a real keyboard. ( And is not the the size of a G1) then I would consider it. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

AHH! got a nice new curve back, "couldn't weather the storm". The concept is great but way too many bugs for a guy like me with limited technical abilities. I'll let all of you get the bugs out and buy another one when it is perfected.

glad they're selling out, but it's become a trend for RIM to release faulty crap recently. they may just be little "fixable" issues, but who wants little fixable issues out of the box?

I enjoyed the new camera and the theme. I was way disappointed in the browser. A full web page like my laptop isn't needed to me. I wish they would give us the choice to view as a mobile browser or full. What was a verizon smack in the face as a long time cust was that the week before the release they went up on the data plans. After the long morning of waiting to get it I wasn't told about plan changes at the store and found out the hard way.
As far as being an "iphone killer" as some have reported..... no chance. I can browse the web with my ipod touch better on wifi than with the bb browser. If I could tether an Iphone like a blackberry, I would have had one a long time ago. Sorry Rim but this one missed the target in my book with the browser being the worst of it. Gotta go my curve is waiting to be reactivated........

Wow. Just wow. I was really hoping to get a Storm (9500) but as a Crackberry addict outside the US that hope is fading. The thing is expensive as hell and only die hard RIM fans are saying nothing is wrong with the device. I think the 8900 is the best new BB for me right now or maybe the 8220.
    Device history: 8100 > 8320 > 8900 & 9530. Keep crackin'

With all of the returns, soon there won't be a shortage in supply. VZW can move the expected ship date up some more
