UK prime minister's Aide looses BlackBerry during trip to China

AN INVESTIGATION was launched after an aide to Gordon Brown lost his Blackberry during the Prime Minister's visit to China earlier this year, Downing Street confirmed.

However, No 10 denied a report that the device was stolen in a possible "honeytrap" operation after the aide was picked up by a Chinese woman who approached him at a disco in Shanghai.

I saw a video last night on CNN international about the upcoming Olympics and PDA security. The video went on to say that there will be people trying to gather data from PDAs, BlackBerrys, laptops, etc...

It mentioned bluetooth hacking (which the BB is secure against) as well other things. I can't seem to find the video on CNN international's site.

wirelessly inserting spyware on BlackBerry devices, and a new technique dubbed "slurping" that uses Bluetooth technology to steal data from electronic devices.

Brown should teach his aides how to zip their pants rother than leave the stupid BBC or Sunday Times writing non sense **** about China over and over again.
And mostly important, next time don't forget to bring enough RMB if you want to hook up with some chicks.

It's a well known fact that most guys often lose something from their pants in Chinese discos. Some guys simply cut to the chase and lose their pants.

Men fear not, women also lose things for their own good reasons.

I have no doubt that the Chinese intelligence services will be monitoring all network traffic to glean any useful nuggets.

Having senior political aides losing their PDA's is just is just making it easy. Maybe the lost phone had false disinformation loaded on it for the Chinese to find, haha? The plot thickens...
