Even now I still think pound-for-pound it's the best berry to be released by RIM. Time and tech had to finally just pass it by, but still an amazing handset.

I concur 100%. When it comes to a straight work-horse, the 87 series can't be beat.

My 8703e is sitting here on my desk feeling alone and left out since my 8130 arrived.

I hate to let it go, but I have no use for it now

I agree. I now own the Curve, but I had like 3 8700s. They ARE a great phone.

The curve was my first berry. I didn't like the previous styles or capabilities. It is so far beyond any other smartphone--really was not much of a choice. Wifi calling? Just traveled overseas, and really loved the fact that I could stop into a coffee shop, make calls to the US, and not pay roaming.
