Anyone else notice something funny about this announcement? It says it's the first BB to operate on 3G network around the world, including Japan & Korea, but the 8707 operates on those networks just fine. Perhaps it should've said it was the first to operate on North American (or at least US) as well as global 3G networks. ;-)

I Live in India & Just managed to Snag one Yesterday from Airtel, I've got to admit it really is a piece of work . . . That 624mhz Proc really makes a huge diff Guys. First thing I noticed was the speedy way it can handle large size power point files . . . my old Pearl 8120 would constantly Lag / Hang using the Docs2Go app but on the bold it takes just a few seconds.

I just talked to Best Buy here in Portland, and they said they should be able to honor the 20% off coupon for Rewards members whenever they get the Bold, even though the official expiration date of the coupon is Nov. 1. So that will mean I can get it for around $280 with no rebate needed. They also said they don't know when they are getting it, though they get shipments on Mondays and Fridays (I'm guessing this will vary in different parts of the country). So maybe soon...I would think they would get it by the time AT&T gets theirs on Nov 4.
