5) When I first had the BB, I didn't realize it needed charging as much as it does, so it ran out of juice during a phone call. That's when I picked up a car adapter and started charging it every day.

2) At home, I use the AC charger, but on the road or when heavily using data, I find myself taking out the long USB cable to keep the phone charged.

4) Tthe cable saved my BlackBerry from a most certain destruction (or at least some scratches) when knocked off the table by a pesky cat.
5) The GPS is both an life saver in a cruse. While lost in Philly (as a passenger, not a driver!) I was using Google Maps to try to find our destination, but the constant on-time with data downloading drained the battery like crazy... eventually, my BlackBerry turned off the radio for lack of power.

5.) I was driving around in Colorado in a rental car soon after I got the BB and before I got a 12v charger. Reception faded in and out, and the battery got dangerously low by the afternoon because it had to work so hard to find a signal. If I'd thought about it, I probably could have charged the BB with my laptop and the USB cable. That would have saved me some aggravation. I didn't need the laptop while I was on the road, and the BlackBerry gave me Internet access, access to Outlook, and directions. That was definitely higher on the priority list than a laptop battery.

5) Knowing the battery is low and having to shut down the BB to avoid losing power completely is always a hassle. I try not to let it happen but sometimes I still manage to forget to charge.
