    Well Done to RIM

I really enjoyed the presentations. The presenters evidently spent ample time preparing what they would say and the material they would present.

If anyone missed any of the sessions, they'll be made available for viewing not long after today. RIM also made provision to download all of the presentations; I'm sure these will be available as well.

Was anyone else surprised that RIM has announced a Developer's Conference in October? Maybe not so much there will be a conference, but that they are seeking input from more experienced developers to assist newer ones.

I'm surprised because just a few weeks ago, the DevBerry Blog was shut down because of what seemed to be a lack of interest on RIM's part to assist third party vendors.

    July Technical Seminar....WES rehash..?

I participated in the online technical seminar as well. All of the presentations for the Developer and Admin perspective were covered in WES in May. Same presenters and content.

Not too much of a critique, per se. WES is as much about networking and "hands on" with labs, vendors, ISVs, etc. as it is about the presentation tracks. But, after spending 2K to attend WES out of pocket I was hoping for some original content from a free webinar for developers and admins.

Maybe I'm off base. Anyone else who attended both events have a different perspective? Inquiring minds want to know ;-)
