    1. I like having an app available when I need directions but don't want to pay a monthly fee when I would only need to use this feature on rare occasions.

the most beneficial feature for gps on a smart phone for me is accurate positioning on a 2d map. Based on my experience, Telenav has the conpetition beat. I have tried Nav4all, Garmin, google maps Gps and others. More voice options for the voice navigation would be my only suggestion. I would love a free subscription.

    1. Being able to plot my starting address, destination address and getting turn by turn directions.
    2. Voice out put turn by turn directions as I am unable to hold a phone and/or move it to look at it while driving due to my disability and the need to use hand controls instead of foot controls to drive.
    3. Google Maps and BlackBerry Maps due to those being free.

    1. Something that's not Garmin or Tom Tom would be fabulous.

    2. Voice directed directions for when I'm driving would be great.

    TeleNav Contest

The best feature in GPS Navigation programs is voice navigation that not only tells you when to turn, but also the name of the street. I've used several free programs that simply told you to turn right or left and I missed my turn because of close turns or unusual intersections.

From my experience, TeleNav is the best GPS navigation program I've used. I had it for several months when I was doing a lot of travelling for business. When the travel dried up due the the economy, I had to cancel. I'd love to get it back so hopefully I'll win.

    1. The trip preplanning is probably my favorite feature and I am SO happy to see it included with this version of TeleNav GPS Navigator.

    2. I’d like to see something that gives users the option to download a static, simple map of the entire country for failover when there’s no data coverage.

What’s your favorite feature currently available on GPS phone navigation applications?

Showing me where I am so I don't get lost. Love just having GPS when I am traveling in an area that I am not familiar with so I don't have to ask for directions.

What feature you would most like to see available on GPS phone navigation applications?

Voice commands and directions would be the best thing in a smartphone navigation system

In your opinion, based on first-hand use or what you’ve read/heard, what company produces the best GPS phone navigation applications?

I currently have Garmin and Coogle on my phone but I like the ease of Google the best. Would gladly change to another app with voice command

    Good Luck to everyone.
