Stockstream Mobile and Stockstream Mobile Pro provide the individual investor and professional trader with live data and news covering 40 global exchanges and all financial instruments from Reuters. Financial institutions can white-label the applications for client loyalty programs. Channel reseller programs are also available.
Stockgroup will be demonstrating the products at the BlackBerry Booth (#1434) at the SIFMA 2008 Technology Exhibit in New York June 10-12.
"Investors no longer want to be tethered to their PCs or TVs for financial news," said Marcus New, CEO of Stockgroup. "These products give both individual and institutional investors all the news and information they need to make intelligent investment decisions at their fingertips, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."
Stockstream Mobile for individual investors and Stockstream Mobile Pro for professionals will be available for corporate clients on June 30 and to individual investors in late July.
Looks like a neat package for a professional. The "pricing available upon request" tells me that it probably wouldn't be justifiable for the average investor...so I'll stay with the free (and slower) market quote packages.
