    UPDATE: Okay, well, this isnt 100 percent confirmed yet, but, its very very likely that EVDO Revision A is built into the 7130e, at least for Verizon, and can be activated in a firmware upgrade when Verizon upgrades to Revision A on the backend. This means 1mbps uploads, and up to 3mbps downloads towards the end of the year. Beats the pants off of EDGE, HSDPA, even W-CDMA. Now, will Verizon allow this upgrade, or force you to buy a new handset, noone knows.

    The price of EVDO service is expected to stay the same, either as a standalone or tether add-on. The standalone I can see falling actually, as bandwidth prices drop more and more.
