| Seesmic Launches New Free Twitter App for Android & BlackBerry For all of you tweeters out there another new Twitter client is ready for Android and BlackBerry users. Desktop client Seesmic now has a mobile app. I'm giving it a try on my Motorola Droid and it's a bit slower to load than Swift(my favorite twitter app for Android) and is having some issues with giving me someone else's avatar in my timeline but otherwise it is loaded with options and has a nice UI. I will continue to use it for a couple days and test it out. From their Android description: "Seesmic now offers the Twitter client you've been waiting for! A powerful feature-rich application that's simple and easy to use. Share photos with your choice of image service, post videos to YouTube, share links connected with your Bit.ly account, fully configure your notifications and view your Direct Messages in a simple threaded view. From their BlackBerry description: "Seesmic brings you the ability to manage your Twitter account on the go using your BlackBerry mobile device. Seesmic for BlackBerry provides you with the ability view your friend's status updates in an interface that is familiar and inspired by BlackBerry's own native applications." Android users can pick it up in the Market and BlackBerry users can go to http://www.seesmic.com from their BB browsers. It's free so definitely worth checking out. Let us know what device you are using and how it works for you! Full details here |

| Thanks. Very soon most apps are going to support only OS 4.6 and up. It contains much better APIs than 4.5 does. Not to mention with all the new devices and new features that come along with them.

I installed it, but I really like all the features of Twidroid. Maybe I'll try again later once they do some updates. Thanks for the info!

Just installed on my 8900. Clean and basic interface. Overall it looks nice, but doesn't replace TweetCaster. Lacks more advanced options of TC like URL shortener, pic poster, multiple accounts, etc. Think I'll keep it as a backup app.

This application requires the following module, which is not installed: net_rim_bbapi_messagelist That's the error message I get on my 8330 curve. |

Anyone else getting the new tweet icon that won't go away? Mine is currently up to about 30 new tweets and the icon won't disappear without a battery pull, but comes back a short time later.
