Rove's File Manager & Mobile Viewer for Blackberry - free downloads
OTTAWA, Canada – March 26, 2008 – Rove, the world's leading provider of enterprise software for handhelds, today announced that two of its popular products – Mobile File Manager and Rove Mobile Viewer for BlackBerry are now free of charge.
Mobile File Manager allows BlackBerry users to connect to remote file servers such as FTP, SFTP, WebDAV and Windows file shares. Users can edit files such as web pages, deploy sites, upload photos, transfer files from the memory card, view graphics on remote computers, edit configuration files, and monitor log files and much more.
Rove Mobile Viewer for BlackBerry (formerly BlackBerry Viewer) displays the screen of a BlackBerry smartphone on a computer screen. Users can give live demonstrations of any application designed for BlackBerry smartphones, create training presentations for BlackBerry users, take screen captures and record videos.

As the mobile workforce increases, so does the need for remote workers to be able to access remote files from wherever they are. With the number of BlackBerry implementations on the rise, there is also a strong demand for tools that allow easy training and presentations to a large group of users, by displaying the screen of a BlackBerry on a larger screen.
“Rove’s mobile enterprise software has brought simplicity and convenience to thousands of enterprise workers,” said Rob Woodbridge, President and CEO, Rove. “With these free versions of Mobile File Manager and Rove Mobile Viewer for Blackberry, we hope to introduce the Rove line of products to an even larger audience.”

Reason: works now yay!
Many new stackers are looking for the means to produce a screen shot and this app is pretty effortless to set up and use.
wow this has just made me a web developer at the beach! sweet!
Mobile Viewer it GREAT!! So easy and efficient...love it
The mobile viewer is awesome. Helps with training on the devices since most of the people they get deployed to are idiots.

Has anyone tried the Mobile File Manager over a TCP/IP connection....with an online WebDAV service like box.net?
I got mine set up but it isn't working. It either searches forever or comes up with a dialogue box that says "302 found" and it doesn't list any of my files...just "empty"
Any help would be appreciated! Just want to see what this is like in comparison to bookmarking the box.net site in my browser.
Thanks Hayden, this is great news....
I am however having some issues with the file manager as well, should we contact Rove directly for trouble shooting?
Great App! I can finally do screen shots !
