No, I think you are looking at the side by side with the 8220 flip, which does have a LCD on the outside for the clock.

8900 is like the curve only having the main screen.

I don't know what you peole are talkin about, I have a bb bold and check the stack everyday from it. I never have a problem loading the page nor do I have any issues with reading, or replying to any posts... The bold does have its flaws but pinstack comes up perfectly on mine.

Javelin is the code name used during R&D. The official model name is Curve 8900. It's specifically designed to be the exact same height & width as the Curve 83xx series, and its the direct replacement. My personal predicition is this will become RIM's most popular model, and they will sell as many as they can make.

The upgrade price should be 179.99 as long as you meet the 45$ MSF but it is a promo price.

I called yesterday and the lady said it's not in their "system" yet. I also went to a Rogers store in Ottawa and again, the lady said they don't have any yet. Both told be to call everyday for a week.

Oh & by the way, its not enough to just log into Pinstack, as its fine on the home page & even on the page that lists the various device forums. It's not until you drill down to the actual thread one is about to post in, that the fonts & text shrink to ultra small size....thanks!

Am I the only one that doesn't like the black trackball? I prefer how my current Curve lights up! Ahh it's just a minor issue.... I can't wait until I get my hands on this 8900.
