i leave my computers on 24/7 and have a hefty battery backup system for them all, that would last approx. 1 hour. But also run a home server to link my family computers around the state to backup certain things. Mainly. there photos, documents of importance. Things like that. But this will be something new that i would be interested myself.

This has promise, but I too have some concerns with the Security issue. More importatnly for me...will this run on a Mac...or will it be exclusively PC???

And I will be #3 to chirp in in a row...MAC compatability? Answer? No. Mac and BlackBerry hate each other. We will have to find a windows based server to run this off of. BOO. MAC and BlackBerry.....Take a trip to ANTIGUA for a week, get drunk, tell each other you love each other, and start playing nice and giving mac and BB users the respect and support we deserve! |

Looks interesting, the security is what I will need to look at before I can definetly recommend this one.

This doesn't excite me at all. Why? Well, since I still need a data connection to use my Blackberry, and this comes with free BIS, why would I need this? My computer is on 24/7 and secured, but I doubt running this would prove better than the push email I already get with my Internet service. Just my two cents. |
