    Question RIM Law Suit

So, I just heard on the radio today something about the RIM Law Suite and not being able to use a blackberry any more.

I have searched and seached the web and can only find the OLD lawsuite suspending patent production and such.

Any new news that I can't seem to find?

It was settled. RIM had to pay NTP $612.5 million. But now Visto and RIM are battling over the same thing.

Actually - I just found it. Starting on the 5th of May, RIM sued Visto. That is what they were talking about.

It will stop when our wonderful folks in Congress take control of the tort system. Unfortunately its way to easy for suits like this to exist. Once one "company" like NTP shows it can be done, the whole process just takes on another life of its own.

    Re: RIM Law Suit

Rim is just trying to regain some of its losses doing the same thing. I actually got scared the first time there was a law suit against RIM and cancelled my account and tried a microsoft smartphone. Well I'm glad RIM settled that because the smartphone sucked for email.
    I'm glad to be back
