Totally agree, Viigo is one of the prime apps I use on my BB.

I agree with those who say it is a memory hog. I have tried it on my 8100 and 8120 but it sucks so much memory I can't keep it installed.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before and I assume this has something to do with the blackberry's architecture and not the application writers, but I feel like venting anyway. Why can't the BB store large data blocks (e.g., Viigo's stories, Zagat's restaurant's, etc.) on the microSD instead of internal (or worse, online, Zagat's is almost unusable over tmo's 2.75G network).

End of vent, thanks for listening.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I've used every version of Viigo up to this point without memory issues. However like a few others this latest version took up WAY too much memory on my Curve and I had to delete it. I played with the settings and tried every thing I could think of, yet Viigo consistently took up approximately 5MB of space. In addition it continued to eat up memory and forced me to yank the battery about twice each day. Love the app but will wait and see if this gets ironed out...

I have been using the storm version for a while. I love it but wish they fixed some of the bugs on this thing like for example: When updating all channels my storm will appears to freeze for about 2 minutes while it updates. I still use it everyday but wish it was fixed soon..

can you help us improve Viigo by contacting support and providing them with the details.

    Thanks
What kind of info do you want to know? If I install Viigo, I'll lose that 1mb instantly and then over the next 24 hours if I set the feeds to update every 4 hours or so, I'll be down to single digits worth of free memory by the next day. I've tried everything from limiting the number of feeds, total number of feeds allowed, (I used to use 200 total and 20 per but I think with the latest versions it can go smaller per), I've cut down on the number of subscribed feeds and almost everything else to limit the amount of memory it takes.

I just figured I'd wait until I get the 8900 and then I could care less how much memory it sucks up.

Great app, it just uses too much memory for me especially when a fresh OS install only nets me about 16-18mb worth of room.
