    PocketMac RingtoneStudio for BlackBerry

How Does PocketMac RingtoneStudio for BlackBerry work?
Just drag any movie or unprotected music file onto PocketMac RingtoneStudio and it does all the rest.

If the movie or song is less than 30 seconds in length, PocketMac RingtoneStudio converts it automatically into the proper ringtone format.

If it's longer than 30 seconds, PocketMac RingtoneStudio will open up a preview window so that you can select the exact 30 second clip you'd like.

PocketMac RingtoneStudio automatically copies them to the connected BlackBerry, and stores them in iTunes for safe keeping.
    It's that simple!

    Thumbs up PocketMac Ringtone

I put this app.on my MacBook (Leopard)and it works good for me,I think its worth a look, you can download a demo(lasts 30 days)that's cool and if ya don't like it don't buy it!It's really a simple way to make a ringtone(19 seconds long ) with your songs on iTunes.

Want to make custom mp3 Ringtones?
Well, I know how, but u will have to may me 30 bucks for telling u!!!!!
    Just kidding
If ur on a PC, there's a software called Wave Lab, or another one called Sound Forge.
They r professional audio software, but u can make ur favourite part of ur favorite song a ringtone.
Just load the mp3/wav/aiff file on the software, select the part, copy, and paste it on a new file, and that's it!!
U can get hi fi ringtones(of course if the initial file was also hi fi) and for free!!!!!
And here is a little advice.
If u cut the bass feecuequencies of the file(of course ur blackberry speaker cannot reproduce those frequency and make the mid and high frequency a little bit louder.
U can have a really good ringtone, that u can listen @ a noisy street, without the blackberry speaker been damaged!!
U can find those programs at any torrent downloader or ares, lime wire, etc etc.
And if ur on a Mac, well I don't know what software u can use, because I only use Pro Tools on a Mac.
    Have fun!!!!!
And I want those 30 bucks 4 real jajaja

if you already have a Mac why would you get this? wouldn't you just use GargeBamd to make ringtones easily? that's what i've used for a couple years now.

I am new to BlackBerry, but since device manager has this i believe to allow you to do for free why do you have to pay for this one.

i'm guessing that most people here don't know this....but you can make ringtones already in itunes for free. all you do is figure out which part of the song you would like (for example 0:35 to 1:05) and then right click on the song. Click get info. Go to options. And change the start and stop time to reflect those times. Then you exit out of the options. Right click on the song again. And click "convert to Mp3".

I've been doing this for years and it works beautifully...the ringtone files will be large...generally a 30 second clip is about 1.2 mb...but they sound better than any ringtone you will ever purchase or make using these free audio editors.

for mac there's a music editing program called audacity. just google it, it'll be the first one to come up. import the song you want from the folder that it's in, trim it down, then export it back. i bluetooth it to the phone without a single problem at all..

but video? THAT would be cool...
