Do you have a backup copies at your office server, try to restore from there.

Question.... If my curve gets stolen, can't my provider or RIM just track the PIN and disable the phone or something?

I don't know about all countries but the service providers here Singtel, M1 and starhub had indicated that they will not do that as it is not cost effective. But even if the phone is disabled you still can't get it back which is the most important one in losing item and getting it return.

There is now a theft recovery software (with trail ) for blackberry that can be used for your purpose. Its name is RobLock and is available at dexmobile.com
