We the 51mb was right after the upgrade.... there were a few things that were definitely not installed that I used. After Installing everything back on that I use (even occasionally I'm down to 38mb free space.... But I have and use a lot of apps and such.

    oh well...
That's uber fast compared to what I'm getting. I am dloading it using my laptop and a Rogers High Speed USB Internet dongle.

Wouldn't be so bad if it would keep a decent 3G connection... Have fun with .77!

had too many issues with .77
I was lagging, and also after a while of sending messages on BBM, BBM would lock up. Instead of seeing check marks when I sent a message I would see a blue circle. And people would go unavailable. I would do a batt pull, and it would work fine again, I also got numerous messages after I did a batt pull. People said they saw me as unavailable as well. I installed .97 yesterday morning, and my BB is running great now. No lagging and I noticed I have more free memory then I did with .77

Yep, just make sure and delete the vendor.xml file after you install the OS on your computer, before you update your 8130.

    Question

I try upgrading it on my old 8130 but it bricked it so vzw send me a new one today... and i don't wanna break it again is there a guide for this?

I had BB Manager 4.6 when i was updaing, didn't unplug it.

But there was a pop up telling me to install the drivers for a usb hub. And i didn't do it right away was that the problem?
When I do good, I feel good; when I do bad, I feel bad, and that is my religion.

Just installed 4.5 and its good so far. Only thing is the 2 different types of messaging...there is the 'SMS & MMS' and 'Messages' also. Certain messages go to one, then others to the other. Is there a way to route all the msgs from one to the other? Having 2 msg apps is kinda ridiculous. I'm usin the Modern Bold Fns theme which is great but the icon for msgs doesn't bring up sms and mms just the 'Messages' folder. any ideas?
