wow you would have thought they could have fixed the media manager issue!!!!! I'm seriously so pissed about the issue I've had since v4.2 sp2 and can't seem to find a solution I'm ready to go with a windows mobile device. still getting that runtime java error everytime I try to run the media manager. From what I can find out its because I log onto a domain server at my office and there is something with that that is causing the issue.

To all -
Where can I find the needed requirements to have DM 4.5? Awhile back I tried to upgrade to 4.3 from 4.2 and it was a nightmare. I use DM on my work computer with Outlook 2000 (SP-3) on Windows 2000 (SP4), but DM 4.3 required Outlook 2007 (from what I recall). After countless hours with RIM support, I ended up having to go back to DM 4.2.
Does anyone have any ideas if I can run DM 4.5 on my work computer with Outlook 2000 (SP-3) on Windows 2000 (SP4)?

Seems like a lot of people are having issues with the download, make sure you download the entire package which is a little further down on trhe download page.

Roxio install loop...
I've had the same problem with the Roxi install/uninstall loop. I unisntalled and reinstalled the DM 4.5 and so far, so good.

Is there a thread for .42 yet? I've looked around but found nothing... .37 is getting worse..

There is no official 18.104.22.168 release as of yet. .37 is the latest officially released.

oh, well that blows maybe RIM will get they're stuff together and start fixing some of the many glitches and known issues with .37(which is an official release).
Maybe what we really need is an OS Builder..not a Theme Builder.

I installed 450_b016_english_nomediamanager and haven't had any problems.
The error you have is the same one I got when installed version 4.3 on users machines at my work when they weren't logged in with full admin rights. I was trying to use run as.
You could try deleting the folders located in C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry
I believe that should help.

Once I uninstalled and reinstalled DM I got rid of the same problem with the Roxio Media Manager install/uninstall loop that some of you experienced. It's working fine now.
