NewsGator has just announced that NetNewsWire, FeedDemon and the rest of its RSS-related applications, including free web-based synchronization, are now available for free. NewsGator is apparently looking to expand in the enterprise market and believes that free client products will move its server-side business forward.

I went through the initial DL process, activated an account and received email with download link. ( ngmw.mwap.at ). I keep getting HTTP error 400 bad request server could not understand request.
I'm going to try to get some support from the website I guess.

The link address includes the ) at the end. Copy the address from the email, paste into your browser and take off the ) at the end and it will load fine.

sorry I have a real stupid question. I just installed Viigo, and don't understand what the 'save' option does. If I choose to 'save' on close, then what am I actually saving ?

I tried making subscriptions, and reading some etc... Then when I close without saving, and open up, it still knows what I did the last time, so what is the save for.

I apologize if this isn't the right place to put this simple question.

    Thanks,
    floyd

    There are no stupid questions.
The save option keeps the article in question on a separate folder. You should see this folder if you scroll to the bottom of your channel screen

I was a big PICONEWS fan, until they stopped refreshing their feeds so I switched to VIIGO.

I just installed GATOR and I like the super clean look and the ability to catergorize your feeds into folders and create folders is great.

But unlike VIIGO, I don't see any options to load, search for any blogs or feeds directly from the berry.
Also images associated with posts do not load into GATOR.

I am willing to get GATOR a try for a few days but imho VIIGO so far is the feed reader to beat.
