    What do you mean? Who is "they" and how is it "free?" That's like saying why do we have to pay for a carriers signal when we all know they have it out there everywhere?

    Why do you have to pay for "caller ID" on your home phone? It's IN the info of every call that you answerl (free) - I think it's called BUSINESS...and you have to pay for it if you want to use it.
