    Version 1.0.3 Release notes:

    - MySpace IM Support. All basic IM functions are supported except for blocking. As MySpace IM itself is still in beta, this service may experience issues from time to time.

    - Buddy Icon Support for AIM (4.2 OS only, requires MicroSD card). Ability to view buddy icons and set one's own buddy icon. Buddy icons are stored on expansion memory (MicroSD). Supports automatic resizing and re-formating of pictures or images to be compatible with AIM's buddy icon requirements. Additional preference to enable/disable downloading and display of buddy icons.

    - Fixed "Timeout" error for auto-away.

    - A few UI optimizations, including adding Buddy Info menu item to chat screen

Should this be compatible with OS 4.3? I tryed intalling this onto my 8100 and it bricked it. Also, is the 1.02 still available?

If they added proxy (via BES) support for corporate mobile users it would be so slick!

You dont have to. Once you are registered it will automatically inform you if you want to upgrade.

Does this application go through my corporate BES like the RIM provided AIM client? I ask because when I did the initial setup it showed BES as one of the options. If it does use BES, is there any way to "tell" it to only use the phones data connection (through the provider) and not the BES?

if I remeber correctly you can can connect through BIS BES SOCKET or HTTP I believe, you can specify which ever you like

Now is this the official stable release or is it 1.03 beta?

Re: New JiveTalk for BlackBerry 1.0.3 Now Available!

Mine isn't working properly! i just updated it from the 1.0.2 version which was working perfectly, and now every 5 seconds i get the message stating that..
"the application JiveTalk $2dblackberr$2dpearl has attempted to open a connection to a location insite the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy"
The network parameters are configured correctly.
The firewall settings have not changed. Like i just stated version 1.0.2 was working flawlessly.
All my permissions are set to Allow.
    Also whenever
    I've uninstalled and re-installed.
The buddylist does display and when i try selecting a buddy in an attempt to IM them i get this error "uncaught exception:net.rim.vmstackoverflowerror"
Does anybody have any idea on what i can do to correct this? i'm at a standstill here.
    =(

    Thanks in advanced!!

I downloaded and tried to start this program but it is asking me for the key. Granted, I did have a trial of the older version some time ago and perhaps you cant have two trials registered to the same device. That being said, is there any way to trial this version if you already had a trial of the old software? I would like to test it out before I pay money for it!
