I am using it on my Bold. It is outstanding no cons so far. I have been using it since Tuesday last week. Do you have a specific question you want to ask?

I played with it since I upgrade G-Maps on the BOLD.
Nice toy but I can't see a 'useable' function.

I have it, but I am not logged in. It would be more useful if a person could allow you to see their location as they do; Sometimes I want to let my friends know where I am and how far away I am, so they don't have to call while I'm running late (which is often :P).

I know it would probably be battery intensive, (and possibly invasive) but if it was an option, I'd use it.

    Still a great idea though.

I've tried it to see the accuracy, which is fine, since I have GPS. There is no use for me, since I'm already tracked during my work hours with TeleNav. I don't need double the battery drain, that's for sure. It's a neat feature, but I don't really have a use for it, as of yet. It might prove nifty if you've lost your phone, however.

    I am using it.

Does anyone know how frequently it updates?

I just installed 3.0.1 and it seems fine.

Mine appears to update in realtime. I am currently stranded in a snowstorm in Saskatchewan. The highway is closed.

When I am in the truck it shows me on the side of the service road. I walked about 300 feet to Subway and it then showed me on the opposite side of the service road.

You know how it is in NYC, NYC has a lot of hidden streets and sometimes you can't find them.
100% right about that. It has already helped me out big time!!

I have seen a HUGE battery drain with this feature turned on. (AT&T curve) Anyone else experience this?

this app does not update position unless you restart it . its not quite there yet ... and as far as privacy goes ,you can control how and when your position is used.
Its not like a stranger can stalk you , unless they crack your google account and go to the latitude page . when google gets this straight it will be an awesome app.
and for those who are irresponsible with their mobile device this will be a way of recovering stolen or lost phones or your auto should it be stolen with the device in it . I have several devices deployed both berries and windows mobile ,and as the owner of high end mobile devices in the hands of others I feel a bit more secure in knowing where they are any time I wonder. and if the users dont like that they candamn well buy their own ......
