Perfect. The same as on my device. It does mean that every second MiniMoni consumes 4 ms of CPU time to calculate the data and to update the graph. In % it is 0,4% of the CPU load. So, the devices obviously idles around

Hmm. That does mean I probably need to build a version with some special debug code in it for you in order to see what happens around the crash ... As I do understand you have an SD card inside, so I may write some text file there?

Awesome application. Granted -- I have "unlimited" data, but it's still nice to see what the phone is doing. And great support judging by the responses to this thread.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i was just wondering is there a peticular reason this app is for GSM devices only I'm on a unlimited plan but being able to keep track of my data would be alright

The reason is, that the RIM API does only support the counting of IP traffic on GPRS/EDGE...

The version of my 8700vs 4.1.0.286(platform 2.0.0.123)

The error says:

Error starting MiniMoni: Class
'javax.microedition.io.file.FileConnection' not found.


Do you know what it could be?

are you doing a OTA or a DM installation, or did you get the program installed but just can't start it?
if you did get it installed, did you run OTA or DM install, I would at first recomend a re-install then.

I would recomend the follwing for DM installation.
1. download the zip file
2. extract the zip file (overwrite old files at your computer if you already have it)
3. Start DM, run application manager, it should prompt you for update (if you already had it installed)
if not, you will have to add the program manually like you would on any other software.

4. Let apploader finish up, phone will reboot and it should be correctly installed.

I did a DM install.

I downloaded the zip file and installed it via DM-> Application manager.

And when i want to start the application the error is shown on the screen.

I will try to instal it manualy...i will report




EDIT: My fault....i installed it with Application Loader in my Desktop Manager v4.1.0

I know it exactly: It does mean that your device has a 4.1.x firmware for what the 1.00.00 of MiniMoni does not work. I'm almost ready to publish a new version which will have a separate compilation for 4.1 devices. It is already tested on some 4.1 devices so I hope it'll solve your issue.

It'll not help as the compiled 1.00.00 version is for 4.2 devices only. Just wait a couple of days and you'll have your version for 4.1 devices. Hope to publish it at the weekend.
