I don't see this to be a quad band phone, at least from the specs I have read.
That makes it pretty useless for us international folks that travel a bit.

Any alternative for T-Mobile customers who wants to own a STORM (or even a BOLD) but doesn't want to change carrier? Will an unlocked version later on work for T-Mobile without any issues (i.e. Wi-fi, data service etc)?

I see in the last bit that the storm will work on CDMA/EV-DO networks.
does that mean that it could be purchased for sprint?
I know I'm trying to jump the gun a bit here but I REALLY want one and like
OutsideLookinIn mentioned, I don't really want to switch carriers

I get to play with one tomorrow....RIM is coming in to showcase it. I'm pretty excited to see what it can do, but without having a real keyboard, it's hard to say if it's practical for business use.
