    Outlook/sync issues regarding delete items
    We only support blackberry OS

We do not allow any personal devices on our network, we don't even let you on the BES unless the BB was purchased with our government account

Seems like email and synching problems lead the pack in FAQs at the helpdesk. It might be the most frequent problem... but is it also the easiest to fix? How much of that is dependent on whether the mobile device is remote/in the field or not?

Seems like BlackBerry users would have the most luck being supported. Is that a changing trend?

@MikeHud I see you have the "officially" and "unofficially" supported devices. Where should one draw the line?

@zrnchikw As new platforms get introduced, is it getting more difficult to keep up?

    1. What are the most common smartphone problems that come into your helpdesk?
Email connectivity (emails not being forwarded to the device) and signing online to set up emails

    2. How many different mobile OS’ does your IT department support and manage?
Three I believe. Original stock operating systems for the devices. 4.5, 4.6 and 5.0 on newer devices (for BlackBerry's of course)

    3. What’s your IT department’s policy on supporting personally owned mobile phones or smartphones?
Allowed to use these devices on the network but no support will be given to those people that buy elsewhere (eBay, Craigslist, Kijiji, friend, or person with a trench coat with a bunch of phones one the inside of their jackets).
The device must be branded and purchased from our carrier to receive support. Other than that, you are on your own (probably why so many people are on PinStack, BlackBerryForums and CrackBerry)
