Sure would be nice if they'd release 4.5 for the 8130 one of these days....

The CDMA devices are a bit behind. Different hardware.

    Question

There was a post a few days ago, highlighted on the front page, listing newer official OS releases for the 8310.

    See forum post - http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...ad.php?t=80830

The 8310 has v4.5.0.55, newest listed on this list is 4.5.0.37.

Is this because the download is not from a carrier, at least that I can tell of?

    -calyx

EDIT: Well, apparently these are released from a carrier, A1, and are not beta. So there are newer releases?

    I'm tired of waiting.
I love my 8130 but sometimes I wish I had the curve.

This is not restricted to 4.5 OS only. This includes ALL the latest official OS downloads from the 8830 right down to the old 5810. An original list gathered and compiled manually by jdellasala, no cut and paste.

    King,

You can use any of the OS's that are for your SPECIFIC device, simply delete the vendor.xml file after installing on your desktop. For step by step instructions check the threads in my blog....
