Hi. I'm new here. I was wondering what was wrong with my Pearl. Since last night I had no internet! I was freakin out! I thought it was my device or my carrier(tmo in nyc)! It came back on and off this morning on and off. Its been back on for me for the last hour non-stop with no lag! Something told me to check here when it came back on!I'm so relieved!

Its amazing how RIM's data going down for LESS than 10 hours effected so many people that its not only National News, but World News as well.

Never see this when a carrier specific data network goes down.

And its even more amazing how those who of us who use these devices are effected. Last night it was BBM all over the place wondering if other users were down.

This morning when I got into work, I had 86 voice mails and 532 emails all asking what was wrong with their devices. My oh my. We are true addicts.

As up Midnight on the west coast friday night....Gmail up and running, yahoo no go, mycingular no go...i agree that their servers probably just miillions of messages that need to be delivered to handhelds all over the world. Give it time, should be good by tomorrow, if it's truely up and running again....

2 AM Central. I just got 3 emails on my tmo.blackberry.net account and 2 on my aol.com account on my Pearl. This is after being down since AT THE LATEST 9 PM Central last night. I was so busy today I didn't even notice when my email stopped working.
