~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~first Cingular sucks and doesn't deserve a device as royal as the pearl second there doesn't seem to be much difrence between the TMOBILE and the Cingular version

Well the network between cing and TM is vastly different, more coverage and 3g service in major markets across the US.

As I was leaving work last Friday, I was in the elevator with a guy who was fiddling with a smartphone. I thought it looked like a Treo and I asked him about it. He said it was an old Treo and he was on his way to the Cingular store in the mall nearby because he had gotten a call that their Pearl was in and he wanted to take a look at it. I commented that I was disappointed that it couldn't do live streaming video and he said that he had been told that Cingular's version could, even though TMobile's couldn't. That ability was important to him because he needed it to run his business (he operates a website similar to Youtube). Anyone know anything about that, or was the salesman he talked to just blowing smoke?

If you include the roaming partners with T-Mobile, there coverage is more than Cingular's...

    Photoshoped Image?

Just incase anyone didn't pick up on it, in the photo of that pearl, the interface on the phone has the same date, time, menu options... as the 7130c already listed on cingular's site. The reason I checked is because I've noticed all the 'supposed pictures' of the 8100c have had some differences that caught my eye from the t-mobile version. Anyway, I expect the 8100c to be the exact same except for branding and some physical characteristics but I've noticed this a few times and thought it was worth mentioning.
