With GotVoice, all of your voicemail gets converted and sent as text, so you get the message at a glance.

    • Read your voicemail on your cell phone
    • Read it as text and Listen to it as MP3/WAV audio in your email
    • Read it and Listen to it at GotVoice.com at any time

Add your Cell phone, Home phone, Office/PBX phone or VoIP phone to your account, and read all of your voicemail in email or on your phone instantly.

There's a free trial 14 day trial. All depends of what importance we each place on our VM. Maybe if they offered a 30 free trial. As this is something you'd want to test fully for value before investing.

YouMail only charges 3.99 a month for the same service or you can sign up for their FREE visual voice mail.

You get what you pay for when it comes to voicemail-to-text. Here's an article from BB Geeks. They rated all of the services and GotVoice definitely wins this contest hands down.

There are a few reviews of the various voicemail-to-text services around and GotVoice comes up on top in pretty much every review. Some excerpts from a BBGeeks review:

    About Youmail:

For instance, the transcription service was horrible. You can’t expect much from a free service, but having the transcription added little or nothing to the experience. After a few days of having YouMail running, I noticed that some phone calls were not going through, and messages were being delivered to me in bundles, rather than as they were sent. This led me to discontinue use of YouMail.
