This browser is lighting fast. Way faster than FF. Normally i would be worried about that kinda stuff in an EULA, but I use everything else that google does. So I figure that if they're stealing info on me, they've got enough as it is.

Probably not the best attitude, but I'm just giving it a test run right now

I wonder if anybody here could help figure exactly what this EULA means by the above quote. I've tried out chrome and rather like it quite a bit but had uninstalled it as soon as I saw this EULA.

Have no fear!!!
I read on boygeniusreport.com that google apparently got a large amount of backlash from the community about this language and will be removing it which will apply to users who have already downloaded GChrome.

Read the user agreement. They have a right to snoop and retain rights to anything you do on there.

Ok. If you're using a Mac then Chrome isn't compatible yet. They're releasing the Mac version within the next couple months.

LOL. Yeah me too. One of the first things I did was create desktop shortcuts for all the Google apps that I use. A cool thing I noticed is that when I use the Google Reader desktop shortcut and click on a story it automatically opens the story in the Chrome browser. Same thing with Gmail, etc. It's just a clean, simple, super fast browser thats easy to use. It doesn't have all the add-ons that Firefox has (yet!) but in a way that's a good thing. I like the way you can click and drag links to open new tabs, too.

Here is some funs stuff I stumbled on this evening on cnet about the new Chrome browser....

See Chrome's inner workings--and an Easter egg
Posted by Stephen Shankland

Google's Chrome browser has as Spartan a user interface as possible, but the browser's Omnibox also turns out to be a window into a much more elaborate view of the browser.
That's because Chrome users can type several commands into the browser's address box to uncovers a wealth of nitty-gritty detail and an amusing Easter egg.

This would be a godsend add on. Personally I'm not to keen on opera's choice. And mozilla doesn't seem to be interested in hooking up that mobile version anytime soon.
