From theStar: The first Garmin smartphone will go out the door starting Monday.

The Olathe-based company announced today that its Nuvifone G60 will go on sale in Taiwan, then in Singapore and Malaysia in August. The Garmin Nuvifone M20 will also go on sale in August in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. Garmin's smartphone partner is Taiwan-based AsusTek Computer Inc.

The phone is scheduled for delivery in the U.S. reportedly in the second half of this year according to news reports.
