    OTA 7 day trial

Can't seem to get a satellite lock while I am indoors in the office though currently.

    Cost is $99.

Looks pretty nice though and it offers lots of features such as turn by turn directions, weather, and traffic.

i just backspaced a huge paragraph on hating/loving expensive software with short trials. let me know if yall like this or not. 7 day trials is not long enough to test gps software, i would need to do some traveling.

Can you use this software instead of the Telenav pkg offered by the carrier and it will activate and use the phone's GPS. I thought the GPS was locked by the carrier, Alltel in this case, and couldn't be used any other way.

updated OTA link. Got a satelitte lock outside. Turn by turn voice works. Pretty nice looking app I must say.

You can find all sorts of things with Garmin. Points of interest using Google local search, Panaramio, etc...

Isn't it more cost effective to just use a stand alone GPS rather than pay someone 99 dollars a year?

a 4:3 GPS can be as low as 150 dollars now a days. No yearly fees.

i believe it was just an error:
"With this purchase, download software directly to your BlackBerry for the lifetime of your device. Includes everything you need — maps, millions of POIs and easy-to-use navigation software."
less to carry around i guess, but still, good point

just downloaded. Very nice app. I am definitely going to use this trial to its fullest. I like the looks way better than VZ Navigator.

If there was a way I could get the GLaDOS voice pack from the game Portal onto this...I would buy Garmin in a heartbeat.

If it's 99 dollars one time, that's not bad. Do they sell anything to set your phone up on your dashboard?
