| Exclusive: QuickPlayer Pictures/Information! First Look! Okay, there was big hype when SonaMobile mentioned they were going to be release the first video player ever for Blackberry. Many of us were impressed merely by the fact that they were able to get video on the device, therefore we didn't let the sub-par video quality and long download times be to much of an issue. While everyone was caught up in the hype surrounding SonaMobile, another company was quietly working behind the scenes developing their software to deliver streaming audio to our devices. With VERY little delay and rather than have poor video there's audio but the content is FIRST CLASS! Ladies and Gentlemen, you'll find this only on Pinstack.com and we promise you the download link as soon we get the ok! Without further delay, I present you with the first pictures of QuickPlayer from QuickPlayMedia! ![]() ![]() I have had the opportunity to play with this program and let me tell you, if you thought other media programs were good, then QuickPlayer will blow you away. Click Here To Watch QuickPlayer Action On 8700 Blackberry! Click Here To Watch QuickPlayer Action On 8100 Blackberry! Highlights
ABC: News Entertainment Business MarketWatch: Internet Daily Personal MarketWatch Morning Stock Talk Stupid Investment of the week Money, Markets and More Wall Street Journal: Tech News Money Matters What's News The Journal Report Journal Weekend Edition Journal on Small Business Local News Headlines from the following cities: Los Angeles Dallas San Antonio Atlanta Accuweather.com Audio Forecasts for: Chicago Houston Los Angeles Miami New York BlackBerry Podcast Over 20 different channels and this software hasn't been released yet! You have the ability to first preview a channel and decide if you want to subscribe to it. It will play a quick clip of the channel giving you an idea of the channel. If you wish to subscribe, click the trackwheel and subscribe, and it will then be saved in "My Channels". ![]() ![]() Want to listen to reports while you are still using your BlackBerry? No problem. Hit the end button and the audio still plays out of the speaker as you compose your next email. Audio quality is EXCELLENT also. Use the trackwheel to turn the volume up or down. Turn it all the way up, and you will be able to hear it in a busy bar or airport. ![]() The ability for a media player to be put on a BlackBerry in itself is not that impressive. What makes QuickPlayer extremely impressive, is its ability to run quick, crisp, clear and uninterrupted audio. I personally believe this is the most jaw dropping program that I have EVER seen released on a Blackberry Device. The folks over at QuickPlayer deserve a HUGE pat on the back for this program. And the best thing? This isn't even the final product and fingers crossed for the final product to include some video. This program was initially set to be released back in July, around the same time as SonaMobile. Believe me, the wait will be well worth it. QuickPlayer, you guys have done an EXCELLENT job in my book. *We will be releasing more information and updating this post. Please do not send PM's, PIN messages or emails for the download link. As always, as soon as we are able to release the download link, it will be done in a heartbeat. You can also signup for updates here! Last edited by N8DBB; 09-16-2006 at 01:42 PM. |

I'm impressed just from the screenshots. Good to know it will work great on the 8700 and devices beyond.

Cool info. When I try to sign up, it just reloads the page. I dunno if that means I signed up or that the web page hates me. Anyone else?

~via SUPA BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ So to listen you can only use the speakerphone? Or will stereo headphones work too? I hope this opens the doors to streaming satellite radio. I would love to listen to Sirius on my BB |

Ok, to answer a few questions: ETA: Not exactly sure on a release date, however it is coming soon. As soon as we get the info, we definately pass it on . Cost: Same as above Headphones: Good question. Didn't try it. Sona wasn't able to though, so I am doubting this will. The new Pearl has the ability to play audio through the headphones, and this works on the Pearl also. If I can find my headset, I will try and let you all know. |
