CTIA 09: Emoze Beats the Recession

Emoze is emerging as one of the world’s winners in the current recession, with a million web hits a month and thousands of daily downloads of its new mobile push content software. Facebook’s 175 million active members and Hotmail’s more than 200 million users are among those now discovering the benefits of emoze to push their personal email and messages from one or more service, direct to their mobile phone.

Mobile subscribers are holding onto existing handsets rather than replacing them each year, often opting for cheaper SIM-only deals, so predictions are there will be 10 per cent fewer handsets being sold in 2009. Even with older mobile phones, subscribers expect no less from the technology. They increasingly require email access that will work effectively and emoze can deliver just that for single or multiple email addresses, or even Facebook messaging, with real-time updates, just as they would get when at the PC or with the very latest handset.

Contacts, including ‘friends’, are synchronised to the handset with emoze so it’s as easy to send messages as it is to receive them. Facebook has immediately become the most popular second account choice since emoze introduced its multi-address service. At a nominal monthly fee for two or more email or social media addresses in combination, emoze is offering a really a good deal. For those who only want a single source email and contacts pushed to their mobile phone, choosing the emoze basic option is completely free. All you need for the sophisticated but simple-to-use software from emoze to deliver is a simple download and a data package as part of your service provider deal.

For businesses, the emoze Enterprise Edition offers real bonuses. Using a downloaded management console controlled by the user company’s own administrator, any one of a billion handsets in use around the world can be set up to access real-time email, calendar, tasks, contacts and notes updates, direct from their servers. All control remains with the user company and the emoze Enterprise Edition is available at a nominal fee per handset per month.

The emoze Consumer Edition is an easy to use mobile messaging application that enables anyone to turn almost any mobile device into a personal communication buddy. It is no longer necessary to be a CEO or VP to enjoy the benefits of real-time email. Emoze is for everyman. Select the optimum mobile device for your needs, install emoze, add your office account, your personal account and even your social media messaging (like Facebook). Simple and user-friendly, emoze works on just about every type of mobile device on all types of mobile networks.

Never worry about security with emoze. All data transmissions are compressed and encrypted to protect privacy and emails are never sent to a third party server. Emoze pushes data only to your mobile device. All data is fully synchronized with your PC so your data is never lost or corrupted.

Emoze comes in two versions, Basic and Pro.

    Basic

The basic version can be downloaded free of charge and allows users to:

Configure one email account on their handset
    Manage emails on the GO
    Send and Receive emails
    Reply and Forward emails
    Save Drafts
Send and Receive attachments up to 100KB
    PRO

Upgrade to the PRO version for a small license fee (Less than a cup of coffee)

Configure multiple accounts on a single handset
    Outlook
    Gmail
    Hotmail
    Facebook messaging
Your own home or ISP email account
    OWA Corporate email
Manage all your email accounts on the GO
    Send and receive email
Reply, forward and save to drafts
View, Send and Download attachments up to 2MB
Each email account is identified by its own icon.
Each email account has its own inbox
Create folders and save mail from any account to a folder

Emoze delivers unparalleled security levels by using the highest levels of encryption and ensuring no data is stored, even temporarily, between the customer’s mail server and handset, unlike other mobile email systems. All emoze services are available to download at www.emoze.com.

Maybe this should be moved to a non blackberry area, and make note that this is not for blackberries, because in one way or another we have all these features already..

We have push email, and you can get your facebook email, or set up texting from facebook, or download the facebook client. I use all three and have them set up for different things
It takes many professionals versed in many different area's to help the masses, I am just a single drop in that pool.

I have already mentioned Emoze as an alternative push solution, i.e. For symbian and windows mobile users (although I messed up with the fonts while writing a looong review and eventually got my ears pulled by the mods... lol). Can't replace our great BB though, because BB is not just about push email.
    P.s. Free Yahoo doesn't work
