    Question Possible bug?

I installed Vlingo on my T-Mo 8320 Curve 4.2.2.180 but it didn't work due to the timeout error. I uninstalled the app, but now it appears I have lost my address book icon. I can still access it, but no icon exists on the desktop. I tried unhiding and resetting. Was there before I installed Vlingo, and now is gone after removing Vlingo. Any help?

Anybody get past the "Indexing your Address Book"? With only 180 entries in mine, I expected a little faster response than >30 minutes....

Its an ok app, and will be handy while driving, otherwise its kind of like when Voice Rec came out for PC, you could use it and it was neat but kind of limiting. I will have to use it repeatedly for a week or 2 before I can say its a must have (which I hate that term, because there is no must haves, more like would like to have) I just dont believe these people that download something and use it to send one message and say it works perfectly within a few minutes of the release lol.
It takes many professionals versed in many different area's to help the masses, I am just a single drop in that pool.

I've only been playing with it for 30 minutes. My coworkers are probably getting tired of getting stupid emails from me. Anyways it could use some work but pretty nice for sending quick emails like "where are we going to lunch today" and "my phone is cool and yours is not" which came out "my phone is cool years is not" probably just my accent though.
I'll probably get bored of it soon though. If I could ever get something like this to work with jivetalk though I would definitely use it.

I've been playing with it now for a couple of hours and trying to incororate actual work emails and calls with it. It works well for short messages as stated above. However, for longer emails and work specific lingo, it is tedious. I know it will take a while to get the accuaracy down, as I'm familiar with other VR software. I'll be patient for that.

Also, I can open apps such as address book and calender, but haven't figured out how to find a contact or add an appointment, if you can even do that.

I think sometimes we tend to want a $10000 application for free and forget that it may not do everything that we want it to do.

I love it even though right now it has it's limitations and it probably will get better after more feedback to Vling from everyone here.

Thanks, Vlingo for GIVING us the opportunity to have this available to us!

Everyone who is getting the Network timeout error, please post:
    1. Carrier
    2. Device Model
    3. Current OS installed on the device.
    **4. BIS or BES

This should help to single out what could be causing the issue for Vlingo

Leave the APN settings how they are. It's already correct for TMO.

BES lockout, talk to your BES admin about that one.
