I seem to have fixed my issues, so far anyway. I deleted app, restarted, redownloaded (set app permissions - checked, during download) installed, battery pulled after install and before application setup.

Everything seems to be working ok now.
    As Always...

    Happy Berrying!!

Ding! Ding ! Ding! This is how I plan to use this. Trying to text while doing 65 on the highway isn't the smartest idea.

I still feel silly talking to my phone when no one is on the other end, but it will make life a bit easier and safer.

Wow 1061 viewing and steadily rising. Pretty popular app lol.

    Cherri just posted this:

    PinStack's Ultimate vlingo Setup Guide

    Check it out

Vlingo support got back to me real quick after sending feedback through the application. They gave me the necessary ticket # and access code to run diagnostics for the application. I suggest other submit a feedback report through Vlingo so you can run diagnostics once they reply if they find it necessary.

Posted this in other thread. Thought it would be useful here as well.

I installed it and it is working fine. The permissions at first were weird. I had to set everything to allow about 4 times and then it stuck.

i was overly harsh with my initial words. thanks for reigning me in lucky13mt. i still think this app needs some improvements, but its very cool nonetheless. and i think as handsfree tends to become the law and not a preference, this app will grow in popularity.

    I'm on ATT 8310 running 4.2.2

It just says "Error starting vlingoforblackberry_en:Module 'vlingoforblackberry_en-3' attempts to access a secure API"

Any idea how to fix this?

Working for me on 8310 on T-Mobile UK.
You can turn off the "*via vlingo" tag on the end of texts and emails via the Options.

Overall I'm not sure it likes the british accent - it seems to struggle with some words. Probably not helped with the fact I'm not quite over a summer cold so a bit blocked up.

For free its worth a punt to try it out!
