There has been some good buzz about the slacker app on this thread here today. I never had any luck with the flycast app for BB, but this Slacker Mobile is very cool. Some very different features, having fun testing it myself at the moment. Works wonderfully on my 8330 4.5.0.89.

I have to say that this app is excellent. I downloaded this this morning, and have been enjoying it. The one and ONLY drag about it is it stops to 'buffer' between selections on whatever station you have. But apart from that, there is absolutely no reason why everyone who has v4.5 os on their bb should not get this. I'm going to update my profile and put this app in my '3 fave apps' slot as soon as I get to a computer

Slacker works great on my ATT 8310 running 4.5.0.81. This is pretty awesome! Plays well with no repeated buffering even with only 2 bars coverage and no 3G. Yes it is streaming, nothing is saved. All this for free....somebody should have come up with this sooner! Works a lot like Pandora except for those of us without 3G. Same concept and general controls. This is great!

It's working fine on my 8310, except I can't seem to get it to connect to my S9 headset. Any ideas?

Not sure why, it plays through my plantronics 855 automatically if its on. I don't need to do anything special, just turn on my BT and start the radio....
