Found it... Compared the settings... Somehow mine was on Wap Browser as default. In the BlackBerry browser Under Options-General Properties-Default Browser = WAP browser. Thus it wouldn't work, Gah! At least I figured it out! |

That is not true! I have an 8310 with AT&T and have been running BB Maps since I had it with no problems... |

| Re: Blip for BlackBerry - Geo-social interaction That 400 bucks is for the GPS Snitch self contained system. You hide it in your car. if it gets stolen you activate the GPS and call the cops.

The Blip application is completely free. The expiry dates you see refer to the credits for tracking our GPS Snitch product. As for the memory card, we have only done OTA installs into main storage. And Moridar is correct, the $399.99 price you see is for our GPS Snitch tracking product, that you can see and control as well from the Blip application. |

| FREE aint FREE if you have to pay after 90 days! Logged in to website, to pull my locations into Google Earth, an only had 89 days left, signed up yesterday. Is the website access going to continue after 90 days? And be free also? Guess well have to wait 89 more days and find out. EDIT: Sorry for such a hard time, App is very nicely done and works very good. Just here lately free has turned out to be Free Trial, after you install...... Blip is completely FREE. The tracking credits and expiry information relates to our standalone GPS Snitch Tracking product as it is a track on demand device. The BlackBerry application itself does NOT use the tracking credits and when they expire it will not matter. The website and the ability to Share both the Blip and GPS Snitch devices will certainly be available and still work. |

Usage notes: Really hard on the battery and eating memory like mad. I'm guessing that this will be fixed in future releases.

But u can't use the blip without the snitch??? and depending on what model bb u have it's totally useless, if u have friends and they r using the blip, then u can track each other using the app!! but in order for the blip to work efficiently u need the right blackberry and having the snitch would not hurt either I guess!! I have the 8320 with TMO and it does not work for me!!

There is definitely a problem with memory on this application. 2 days if it running and I'm out of memory in my BlackBerry. I've never seen this one happen before. Is there something I can do besides pull the battery? |
