It apparently keeps running...and I found today that my battery seems to have run down quite a bit faster than it normally does -- and I usually have BBWeather, JiveTalk and Viigo running all the time. (also just added the Google Apps version of GMail client, so i don't know how that will impact things either).

I DO like the overall look and feel of the new weather app, love the dynamic icon and caption. But it's definitely not everything I'd want to see in a BBWeather replacement just yet...

i like how the app looks but i think it takes up a lot of memory. ive been noticing that as the day progresses, my free memory goes from around 20 to close to 8 MB free. i think im gonna have to delete the program and just stick to BBWeather.

Like the app so far. I have not had a problem with memory or battery life. I really like the look and feel of it, it is aesthetically pleasing.

Thanks, now using this. Wish they would allow saving more than one location at a time though.

    Overall:
Decent app. Looks good and smooth usage.

However, as many pointed out you can only use one city at a time and i find that more often then not, current data is unavailable (especially when pulling a short term forecast) making it unreliable.

    Final decision:
Sticking with BB Weather until they make some changes.

    *EDIT*
For those with battery issues I suggest changing the frequency of update to something less frequent to conserve battery.

Such a smooth app, but I finally got BBWeather working, so I'll be going with that. I'm with Vortec, I'd switch back if they made a few changes.

Very smooth app though, just not good enough yet.

Thanks for the heads up... Program is excellent and so easy to use. I prefer WeatherEye to all the other Weather Programs I tried.

personally, I like it, but, it has the wind speed in metric no matter what temp measurement you use, which, I don't like (haven't learned the art of reading speeds in km/h )

Short term forecast now working in US...

On a whim I tried to check the short term today (it was a rare cold morning here for this time of year) and I'm happy to say that the short term forecast is now working in the U.S. Well, it's working in my zip of 31401 at the very least... Give it another shot if this was the only thing holding you back!

    Cheers
