It may not display the temperature number on the icon but if you highlight the application, it will display the temp. You don't have to actually click into it to view that. It's pretty neat.

For the record I downloaded WeatherBug at the same time, and prefer this. Previously I used BBWeather which I'll likely keep using in conjunction with this.
I've been using BBWeather for about a year now, and it's been excellent. I'm downloading this new one to try -- curious to see the differences. I'd like to see one or two minor tweaks to BBWeather, but for the most part it really has been great. If this is even better, I guess I'll be even happier!

    Reporting back soon...

It would probably work in the states, but not in US territories, like Puerto Rico...

OK...reporting back now. First impression - slick and professional. Feels like commercial software. I found the next town over (Princeton), and it's able to pick up the current info right away, as well as a long term forecast. Short term forecast is still unavailable for some reason.

I do NOT like having embedded ads. That's just a shame. Happily, I don't have ads in BBWeather. I'm doing my best to ignore the ad banner. I'll see how that goes.

The UI is interesting - reminds me of the Y! Go carousel. I love the fact that the home screen icon and its caption change with the weather as the app updates in the background (I have it set to every 30 mins).

BBWeather gives me a bit more info, and though less "modern" feeling, BBWeather has a faster UI design.

Oh well. For now, I'll keep both, side by side, and see which I wind up consulting more often.

I'm liking this much much more than push weather. Plus it doesn't seem to kill my phone like weatherbug.
Overall its a great free download.

Great find! I'm downloading now! I look forward to seeing how it stacks to weatherbug which I really like but drains my battery.
    Thanks again!

Great application. As previously stated, more cities would be great.

Looks like mixed opinions at the moment. Guess I'll just wait for some more opinions before I take the dive.
