    - Un-Unite!-ing your berries.

I have removed my devices from Unite!

For anyone who is wondering how,

    1. Pick a user and select Device Management
    2. Delete User (DO NOT DEACTIVATE DEVICE I'm almost sure this will wipe your phone)
    3. The Download Manager App must be manually deleted from the device from your applications list
    4. The Unite! message folder........wont go away.......I'm currently trying different things including resending service books, looking at attached emails etc, so far, no luck.
    Hope this is helpful,

    -JC

I must have missed the boat, but what on earth is Unite, and why should we care? Is it like a freebie BES or something?

It seems like the files that you put in the folder to be synced will not get put on your device unless you are connected to the PC.

For some reason, I cannot use my browser; it says that "Browser is disabled by IT policy." My browser is set to "Blackberry unite" and I cannot change it at all. I removed the user and I still cannot use my browser. Has anyone encountered this and was able to resolve the problem with removing the user or able to change the browser from just Blackberry Unite?

I am using the Alltel 8330 Curve.

Let me know if you can help!

its a desktop that allows you to access shared calenders, pictures, music, documents, email, etc. it can support up to 5 users with each user having 10 email accounts. it looks to be more of a family desktop ( household with multiple blackberrys ). heres the link

WARNNG WHEN REMOVING!! It puts an IT policy on the BB that locks your browser. Luckily I'm running 4.3 and as able to restore to factory settings with the jl_cmdr.
