Yes that's true. Its launching soon in India.

The airtel website already has the latest OS update / download available since last week for the pearl.

I already sent them a mail reg this and they replies with no exact date but said the launch will be very soon.

India, will soon be at par with any country if not faster..... India is the fastest growing GSM market in the world.

On diwali day (Hindu new year) nokia sold 40000 handsets on one day, making a record, more than Chinese new year also.
Blackbert service is already the lowest cost in India and soon many people will have it.

Oops sorry... Nokia did not sell 40000 handsets, but 400000 (four hundred thousand) handsets on one day across India.
