BlackBerry Pearl 8110 - Software Version 4.5.0.37 Download

This is officially released for Vodaphone Germany 8110. It can also be installed on other 8110 BlackBerry smartphones from other carriers, however your carrier and RIM does not offer support for alternate carrier OS upgrades. Unless you are an advanced user it is recommended to wait for the official release from your carrier.

Says you can install to other 8100 pearl's, but I guess you should really use the 4.5 version intended specifically for the 8100, and use this one only for 8110's?

This is only for the 8110, it will not work on an 8100.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ I downloaded the correct OS for the 8100, but now AIM and a few other apps are not "compstable" with my phone, it says either not compstable w/ my os and software, or it says, only available for blackberry 8100. And my phone knows its a 8100 model, so what is wrong? How do I fix it? Please help!

Downlaoded the OS 4.5, it works on my 8100 for T-Mobile; but its a little slow.

Belay my last post. When you restart your blackberry; the apps loads faster than before. It works great. One thing...I can't get full blown emails, i.e no html images show up on the email its just like before; what do i need to do? also because its a 8100 pearl, i don't think video recording is on this.

No- you will not get video recording on the 8100.
You will not receive HTML emails until BIS 2.5 is released.
