Even if it is a new blackberry, I'm just going to wait tillmy 2 year contract with my curve is up. That way there is an even better model with perhaps touchscreen. This way I don't have to pay $400 for it like I did with the curve. F that. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

LOL, let the retracting of previous statements being once again. I thought it was real, then a knock off, then real, then fake again.

The two things that clued me in that it is either a prototype of some curve/88xx or a newer phone is the trackball and the external microSD slot. My understanding is that only the 8130 and 8120 have the external microSD slot (and any Curve 2 or 88XX 2 that I'm not familiar with).

wifi/gps/higher res screen and a cam? too bad tmo will probably let this exclusive get scooped up by at&t and we have to wait 90+ days..

I really need to find a way to get a discount on AT&T so I can make the switch.

If he is a RIM employee, he will probably lose his job (they fired the ones who leaked info on the Pearl). If he is not, he may get prosecuted for theft of a prototype by RIM and may have his account pulled on EBay for selling stolen property. Either way, I would not want to be in their shoes. lol

On a different note, I love the color combinations of red and black. Can't wait to see what this ends up being and who it comes out for.
