BlackBerry maker opens R&D center in Germany
Research In Motion Ltd. (Waterloo, Ontario), maker of the BlackBerry mobile device, has opened an R&D facility in Bochum, in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany.
RIM's investment is welcome after Nokia angered many Germans by announcing it would pull out of Bochum and invest in Romania.

I could see Nokia losing #1 position in the mobile world soon. Desperate to cut cost like Motorola, has sacrifice quality and branding of the company. I don't know anyone who owns a Motoroala anymore since the Startec days and there is only one person left that I know owns a Nokia phone.
Rim takes on an innovative R&D strategy will eventually take down Symbian and Nokia monopoly in Europe. Can't wait to see that day. Hehe.
