Blackberry Driftwood “Confirmed” For T-mobile In September

    T-Mobile + Blackberry + 3G?
You may have to wait for fall but it sounds like TMO users will finally be rewarded with 3G speeds on a sexy new Blackberry!

    From Boy Genius Report

Here’s the deal — we’ve heard now from two independent sources that T-Mobile will be launching a 3G-enabled 8900-style BlackBerry around September. This looks to be the much-rumored BlackBerry Driftwood. One of our sources said it was Onyx, one said Driftwood. We’re going with Driftwood only because of our other intel here (Driftwood was the only device with UMA support) but who knows.....

I feel your pain. Just do what am going to do. Use the blackberry buy back program. Because our Curve is practically brand new; we should get a pretty penny for it.

Look into it if your interested. I sure will.

Thumbs up T-Mobile (Almost jumped ship!)

I was getting frustrated with TMO not having a slim BB w/3G and almost jumped ship to AT&T. This is good news and even better news than going with the Bold! I'll give them until September and then its either the new Driftwood with TMO or Onyx with AT&T. TMO - ARE YOU LISTENING? Yes - I don't want a divorce but you need to deliver the goods after such a loooooooong wait.

Errrr... But if this phone is both 3G and UMA, then it'll be the first one on the market. Not just from RIM. I defy you to find a 3G device on the market that supports UMA.
